Get t.A.T.u.

As of June 10, 2003, I will no longer be doing anything with this website. I find that t.A.T.u. is exploiting their sexuality and adding to the misconceptions of lesbians that already are too prevalent in the minds of Americans. When I first heard them, I was blown away. They were revolutionary and interesting. Since then they have done nothing but play on the hormones of men as a way to sell their albums and image. I was saddened by the MTV Movie Awards performance; the dancers stripping and kissing, the men in the audience getting so excited. That's not what they're about. Maybe it's the management that's telling to make out at every show and lip sync and exploit everything about homosexuality, but I cannot support anything like that. I still like t.A.T.u.'s music but I cannot, as a self respecting individual, support the corporate machine that runs them. I'm sure Yulia and Lena are awesome people and I have nothing against them. I'm leaving up the official biographies and the photos for fans that want them. I hope for the best for Yulia and Lena but I cannot maintain a website about something that is making a mockery of homosexuality and appealing to the masses through, for lack of a better term, soft porn.
